Terms of Service

Last updated: July 25, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Global LOCODE Hub (https://global-locode-hub.web.app), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use this website.

2. Description of Service

Global LOCODE Hub is a free, independent port and logistics data reference. We provide UN/LOCODE codes, port specifications, trade intelligence, and related data sourced from UNECE, IMO, and port authority publications. The service is provided "as is" for informational purposes only and is not a substitute for official port authority guidance or navigational charts.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to: (a) use the site only for lawful purposes; (b) not attempt to scrape, bulk-download, or redistribute the database in its entirety without written permission; (c) not misrepresent the data as official government or IMO publications; (d) verify critical port specifications (draft, berth availability, ISPS status) with the relevant port authority before making operational decisions.

4. Intellectual Property

The compilation, structure, and presentation of data on Global LOCODE Hub are protected by copyright. Individual port data points (LOCODEs, coordinates, specifications) are sourced from publicly available UNECE and IMO publications and are used under fair use for reference purposes. The Global LOCODE Hub name, logo, and site design are trademarks of this project.

5. Disclaimer

Port data is provided for reference only. Not for navigation. Specifications (draft, channel depth, berth length) may change due to dredging, construction, or seasonal variation. Always confirm current conditions directly with the port authority. Global LOCODE Hub does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data point.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Global LOCODE Hub disclaims all liability for any loss, damage, delay, or expense arising from reliance on data provided on this site — including but not limited to vessel grounding, cargo damage, missed port calls, or regulatory penalties. Use of this data in operational decisions is at your sole risk.

7. Third-Party Links

This site contains links to external port authority websites, UNECE, IMO, and other resources. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of third-party sites. Links do not imply endorsement.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the United States.
